Kylie Jenner Kept Things Nude at Met Gala 2026 in Sculptural Corset Gown

Kylie Jenner reaffirmed her status as one of the most anticipated guests at the Met Gala.

At the 2026 Met Gala, the beauty mogul and Khy founder wore a custom Schiaparelli gown that embodied the event’s “Costume Art” theme and “Fashion Is Art” dress code. The design combined illusion, sculptural elements, and high glamour.

Arriving solo at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Kylie Jenner wore a custom nude corset gown that appeared moulded to her figure. The sculptural bodice included intricate details such as faux nipples and a visible belly button, serving as an artistic tribute to the human form.

The avant-garde bodice transitioned into a dramatic ivory skirt crafted from silky fabric and adorned with white pearls. The waist design simulated fabric being pulled down, enhancing the “revealed body” effect and reinforcing the ensemble’s artistic statement.

Kylie’s appearance demonstrated her expertise in red carpet fashion. The Schiaparelli design celebrated the theme and pushed boundaries with innovative corsetry and pearl embellishments.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder has attended the Met Gala since 2016, missing only the 2021 edition (held in September due to the COVID-19 pandemic) and the cancelled 2020 event. Her consistent presence highlights her evolution from early appearances to her current role as founder of the Khy brand.

This year, Kylie appeared solo after speculation she might attend with longtime partner Timothée Chalamet. The couple, together for over three years, has shared several coordinated red carpet moments, including their first joint appearance at a 2025 event in Rome, the Marty Supreme Los Angeles premiere, and the 2026 Oscars after-party.

Although they were seen together the night before the Gala, Kylie attended the event independently.

Why This Look Perfectly Captures “Fashion Is Art”

The 2026 Met Gala theme encouraged guests to view clothing as wearable art, and Kylie Jenner’s look reflected this concept. Schiaparelli’s design referenced the house’s surrealist roots and incorporated modern, stylised, body-positive aesthetics. The nude illusion corset created a second-skin effect, challenging perceptions of nudity and clothing in high fashion.

Details such as the pearl-embellished skirt added texture and luminosity under the Met steps’ lights, creating movement and depth. The gown functioned as a sculptural installation celebrating the female form.

Social media widely praised Kylie’s bold choice. Many considered it among her strongest Met Gala appearances, highlighting the gown’s silhouette and artistic approach. Fellow attendees, including her sister Kendall Jenner, also incorporated nipple motifs, creating a thematic connection across the family’s looks.

Fashion enthusiasts noted the look’s balance of sensuality and conceptual depth, aligning with the event’s focus on costume as art.

Kylie’s 2026 Met Gala appearance reinforces her influence in contemporary culture. As founder of Kylie Cosmetics and Khy, she continues to bridge celebrity, entrepreneurship, and fashion innovation. Her embrace of provocative, theme-driven designs inspires fans and influences industry trends.

Whether through a moulded corset or a pearl-adorned gown, Kylie consistently creates moments that remain part of the cultural conversation. Her solo red carpet appearance demonstrates that true icons command the spotlight independently.
