Kim Kardashian Makes a Statement in Archival Leopard-Print Gown in Rome

Kim Kardashian made a notable entrance on October 24, 2026, at the 21st Rome Film Festival for the world premiere of All’s Fair Season 2.
The Skims founder and Hulu star, who recently celebrated her 46th birthday, chose a bold archival Yves Saint Laurent leopard-print gown that drew significant attention at the Auditorium Parco della Musica.
The mermaid silhouette featured a plunging sweetheart neckline and a structured corset-style bodice with lace-up detailing down the front.

Styled by Law Roach, Kardashian kept accessories minimal, opting for pointed black patent leather pumps, a sleek high ponytail, defined brows, and bold mascara with a neutral makeup palette.
She completed the look with a semi-sheer matching leopard-print shawl, worn as both a headscarf and draped over her shoulders. The translucent fabric revealed a full leopard motif across her back.

Archival Yves Saint Laurent pieces are known for their timeless construction and theatrical presence, and this gown, often cited as coming from the brand’s Fall 1986 Haute Couture collection, suited the Italian premiere.
Photographers captured her posing confidently.
The dress accentuated her hourglass figure, while the versatile scarf added movement and visual interest.
Kardashian was joined by her All’s Fair co-stars Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, and Niecy Nash-Betts, creating a cohesive ensemble that reflected the series’ all-female power dynamic.
Her mother and executive producer, Kris Jenner, also attended in a black velvet hooded cape with sparkling scorpion embellishments.
The piece paid homage to the iconic Tiziani Roma evening cape Elizabeth Taylor wore to Princess Grace of Monaco’s Scorpio Ball in 1969. Jenner, a Scorpio (birthday November 5), completed the look with long white gloves, a diamond necklace, and matching shoes.
The choice mattered, as Kardashian’s character, Allura Grant, wears a recreation of the same cape in the Season 2 trailer. Kardashian has also expressed admiration for Taylor, having executive produced the 2025 docuseries Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar.
All’s Fair, created by Ryan Murphy, follows a team of female divorce attorneys who leave a male-dominated firm to establish their own practice.
Kardashian stars as Allura Grant, with Watts as Liberty Ronson, Nash-Betts as Emerald Greene, Paulson as Carrington “Carr” Lane, Teyana Taylor, Matthew Noszka, Glenn Close, and new Season 2 regular Cauã Reymond.
The Rome premiere served as the international launch for the second season, which will debut on Hulu (and Hulu on Disney+) on November 4, 2026, with three episodes, followed by weekly Wednesday releases.
The appearance aligned with Kardashian’s recent series of notable fashion moments during her birthday week, which included plunging gowns and crystal-fringed looks.

Leopard print has returned to fashion with renewed popularity, and Kardashian’s head-to-toe look, including the sheer scarf, set a high standard for red-carpet animal motifs.
Beyond the fashion, the evening highlighted All’s Fair’s growing cultural impact.
The series, initially a polarizing legal drama, has developed a dedicated following for its distinctive style, sharp dialogue, and strong female perspective.
Bringing the cast and creative team to Rome for the premiere elevated the series’ profile and provided a strong example of coordinated yet individual glamour for fashion observers.
From the lace-up corset bodice and mermaid train to the Elizabeth Taylor-inspired cape her mother wore, the evening featured intentional references and notable star presence.
