Juliet Ibrahim is always the Queen of glamour and likes to play by the rules with a “less is more” attitude. This is evident in her latest look which she sported on Sunday to attend the private screening of Mo Abudu’s short films: “IYAWO MI” and “HER PERFECT LIFE,” here in Lagos.
The star-studded event took place at the EbonyLife Place, an entertainment and lifestyle resort owned by Abudu herself, Juliet Ibrahim brought all the glam in this dress by Afifimma Couture, which she styled with her beloved rose gold clutch, ankle strap heels, complete with platinum ombre and brown root bob-cut hairdo.
The intricately embellished dress was however perfect for such a glamorous occasion, featuring party-appropriate designs like vavavoom cleavage-baring and figure-highlighting bodice and the shipwreck ruffles — a key feature for the look that created a wow effect.

The actress shared the look earlier today with a reference to the movie premiere. “Out to celebrate @moabudu on her directorial debut and these short films are simply amazing… congratulations”
“Iyowo Mi” and “Her Perfect Life” are short horror dramas that center around mental health issues and ‘why it is important to take the sensitive subject more seriously. While “Iyowo Mi” tells the story of a young married man who returns home one evening after work to find his wife Eniola hallucinating, “Her Perfect Life” on the other hand, portrays the story of a woman, Onajite Johnson Ibrahim, who is envied by everyone in Lagos but wants to end it all.
“It is my fervent belief that true artistic expression demands absolute freedom, and it is with great pleasure that I have taken the leap of faith to direct my first two short films with the launch of Mo Abudu Films,” Mo Abudu, the director of the movie told Variety in an interview.
