Zendaya Commands Attention at the 2026 Emmys in a Crystal-Embellished Prada Gown

Zendaya reaffirmed her status as a leading style icon, transforming the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards red carpet into a showcase of her signature elegance on September 14, 2026.

The Euphoria star arrived at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles in a custom Prada gown with sheer panels and crystal embellishments, paired with a newly debuted pixie cut that signalled a new phase in her red-carpet style.

For the final season of Euphoria, Zendaya selected a look that balanced ethereal qualities with bold glamour. Her custom Prada gown featured a sheer nude tulle base, with a dramatic plunging neckline and a matching back.

The gown was densely adorned with large crystals in various shapes and sizes, reflecting light with each movement and evoking a chandelier.

A subtle silver belt accentuated the waist, and the skirt extended into a slight train where dense beading transitioned to white polka dots. Pointed white satin pumps completed the look, highlighting the gown’s shimmer.

Styled by longtime collaborator Law Roach, the ensemble balanced dramatic sparkle with refined elegance. As a Prada Beauty ambassador, Zendaya’s choice of custom Prada was especially appropriate following her recent appearances at the brand’s New York Fashion Week events.

Her jewellery further enhanced the ensemble.

Zendaya selected pieces from Mikimoto’s Petals collection, including statement earrings with 12-millimetre White South Sea cultured pearls surrounded by 4.4 carats of diamonds, coordinated rings, and additional pearl-and-diamond accents.

A diamond-encrusted Rolex watch added further sophistication. Law Roach highlighted the modern approach to classic pearls, noting that Zendaya’s styling felt both current and timeless.

Her hairstyle also drew significant attention, as Zendaya debuted a shorter, textured pixie cut for her first major appearance with this look.

Law Roach confirmed the hairstyle was inspired by Halle Berry, featuring a textured, lifted finish that framed Zendaya’s face and complemented her earrings and luminous makeup in soft berry tones. The cut marked a departure from the longer waves she wore earlier in the year.

Zendaya earned her third nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performance as Rue Bennett in the final season of Euphoria. She previously won the category in 2020 and 2022.

A third win would make her the first actress to win the Emmy for every season of the same series. She was also scheduled to present during the ceremony. Her husband, Tom Holland, did not walk the carpet with her, consistent with their usual approach, but later joined her inside the theatre in Dior.

During her arrival, Charlie Hunnam noted he nearly stepped on the train of her gown amid the busy carpet, highlighting the dramatic impact of the silhouette.

This appearance adds to Zendaya’s history of memorable Emmys looks, including her forest-green corseted Vera Wang gown in 2019 and the black Valentino ballgown with a bow in 2022.
