Zendaya is the New Face of Prada Paradoxe

Zendaya has been named the global ambassador for Prada Beauty’s Paradoxe fragrance line, a significant appointment announced on July 29, 2026.

The campaign, directed by Academy Award winner Barry Jenkins, also introduces Prada Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry Eau de Parfum. This partnership highlights Zendaya’s authenticity and versatility, aligning her personal brand with Prada’s values.

Zendaya’s connection to Prada Paradoxe is genuine, as she wore the fragrance before any collaboration was considered. She stated, “I love how Paradoxe celebrates complexity, capturing both strength and vulnerability without trying to frame or define someone.”

Prada Paradoxe celebrates the multi-dimensional modern woman: “never the same, always myself.” The fragrance balances contrasts such as freshness and warmth, softness and power.

Zendaya exemplifies these qualities through her diverse career. Rosa Carriço, Global President of Prada Beauty, stated, “Zendaya is the embodiment of Prada Paradoxe. Her commitment to her own authenticity while capturing the essence of our time makes her the ideal partner for this new chapter. She brings a radical empathy and multi-dimensional energy that perfectly aligns with the Prada woman’s perpetual evolution.”

The campaign, directed by Barry Jenkins, emphasizes duality. Early visuals present Zendaya in soft yet powerful looks, reflecting the fragrance’s harmonious blend of contrasting qualities.

Prada Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry Eau de Parfum debuts with Zendaya’s appointment. The fragrance features blackcurrant, orange blossom absolute, and neroli milk accord, resulting in a modern, fruity-floral scent that balances sharpness and softness. It expands the Paradoxe line while maintaining its signature contrasts.

The original Prada Paradoxe Eau de Parfum remains a floral-ambery bestseller, built around fresh neroli bud, sensual amber, and intense musk.

The line is also known for its refillable bottle design, an early commitment to reducing packaging waste that continues to set it apart in the luxury fragrance space.

Sweet Chemistry joins the family as a more playful yet still elegant expression of the same multi-faceted spirit.

One of the most charming details of the announcement is the personal connection it creates with Zendaya’s partner, Tom Holland. Holland is already the face of Prada Paradigme, the men’s counterpart in Prada Beauty’s fragrance portfolio.

With Zendaya now fronting Paradoxe, the couple has become an unofficial (and highly photogenic) fragrance pairing for the house. In an industry that often keeps celebrity relationships carefully separate from brand work, the overlap feels warm and authentic rather than calculated.

Zendaya’s move into fragrance ambassadorship arrives at a high point in her career. Fresh off major projects including The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with Dune: Part Three still ahead, she continues to expand her influence beyond acting. Beauty has long felt like a missing piece in her portfolio.

The actress’s red-carpet presence, red-carpet makeup choices, and public image have always suggested a natural affinity for the category.

Choosing a house as intellectually and aesthetically rigorous as Prada — and a fragrance that she already loved — reinforces the sense that this is a partnership built on genuine alignment rather than pure commercial opportunity.

This appointment continues Prada Beauty’s strategy of partnering with culturally significant, multi-dimensional women. Following Emma Watson, Zendaya brings increased global visibility and cultural influence to the Paradoxe line.

Prada Paradoxe fragrances, including Sweet Chemistry Eau de Parfum, are available at major retailers such as Sephora, Nordstrom, and the Prada Beauty website.

Prices range from $90 to $150, depending on size and concentration. The refillable bottles offer a sustainable option for regular users.

In a crowded celebrity beauty landscape, Zendaya’s Prada Paradoxe ambassadorship stands out for its thoughtfulness. It celebrates complexity rather than simplifying it. It rewards authenticity over performance and it positions fragrance as something personal and reflective rather than purely decorative.

As Zendaya continues to navigate an extraordinarily busy and high-profile 2026, her new role with Prada Beauty adds another layer of intentionality to a career already defined by careful choices and consistent excellence. Zendaya and Prada Paradoxe are indeed a natural match.
