Stephanie Okereke Wears Jean-Louis Sabaji’s Dress With Pink Feathers For 2023 Tribeca Film Festival

Stephanie Okere was all ready to be the scene-stealer at the opening ceremony of the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City yesterday and she definitely succeeded.

The Nigerian actress graced the annual film ceremony, wearing Jean-Louis Sabaji’s longsleeved black dress from its spring/summer 2023 collection, featuring fully embroidered pink feathers, a high-neck, and open back design. She accessorized the black number with a pink purse while opting for a leaf-shaped pair of earrings.

Stephanie’s Tribeca appearance comes almost a week after she shared on social media that she will be joining the star-studded event as a jury alongside other notable figures. “The 2023 Tribeca Festival has officially unveiled its star-studded jury which includes the award-winning actress and filmmaker Stephanie Linus,” the Nollywood actress shared in a statement, adding that ‘she will be joining a roster of several dozen actors, writers, filmmakers and producers including Brendan Fraser, Chance the Rapper, Jeremy O. Harris and more to decide winners in 15 award categories.’

The 2023 Tribeca Film Festival is scheduled to run from June 7 to 18 and will present awards in categories spanning narrative and documentary features and shorts as well as the immersive storyscapes vertical, games, and audio storytelling. All award winners will be announced at the Tribeca Festival ceremony on June 15.

The Tribeca Festival was founded in 2001 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff to spur the economic and cultural revitalization of lower Manhattan after 9/11. This year’s lineup will feature emerging and household names in 109 feature, narrative, documentary, and animated films from 127 directors across 36 countries.
