Selena Gomez Radiates Glamour in a Red Jeweled Gown at the Rare Impact Fund Benefit

On October 14, 2026, Selena Gomez, singer, actress, and founder of Rare Beauty, attended the fourth annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

Wearing a red jeweled gown, she used the event to highlight her commitment to expanding youth mental health resources globally, a cause she has made central to her advocacy.

Gomez wore a strapless red gown with a structured bodice and jeweled details, paired with red heels, diamond earrings, and her 2024 engagement ring. She completed her polished look with sleek curls and understated makeup. She later joined Elyse Cohen, Rare Beauty’s Chief Impact Officer, underscoring the event’s collaborative nature.

Gomez established the Rare Impact Fund in 2020 with Rare Beauty, aiming to raise $100 million over ten years to support global youth mental health services and education.

One percent of Rare Beauty sales funds the initiative.

To date, the fund has raised over $30 million, partnered with 30 nonprofits across five continents, and reaches approximately 3.5 million young people annually.

This cause is personal for Gomez, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2018 and began discussing it publicly in 2020.

She has openly addressed the challenges of diagnosis and treatment, and her willingness to share her experiences has helped reduce stigma and encourage others to seek support.

The 2026 event, titled “A Night of Radiance & Reflection,” maintained the fund’s approach of combining entertainment with fundraising.

Sean Hayes served as emcee, with performances by Leon Bridges and Bella Kay, both of whom shared their personal connections to mental health advocacy.

The event drew significant industry support, with attendees including Katy Perry, Martin Short, Shay Mitchell, and Sean Hayes.

The host committee featured Benny Blanco, Becky G, and executives from partners such as Pacsun, UCLA Health, and lululemon.

Previous benefits have shown consistent growth.

The 2025 event at Nya Studios raised nearly $2 million, with over $600,000 generated during the evening. Each year, the event combines live music, celebrity participation, and auctions to drive engagement and impact.

The 2026 gathering at the Hollywood Palladium continued this successful model.

Gomez’s participation coincided with a personal milestone.

She and Benny Blanco began dating in 2023, married in 2025, and recently celebrated their first anniversary.

The couple has openly discussed future family plans, including the possibility of surrogacy or adoption, which Gomez has addressed with gratitude.

The Rare Impact Fund Benefit is effective because it combines visibility with measurable outcomes.

By engaging entertainment leaders, corporate partners, and the public, the fund directs resources to counseling, education, crisis support, and workforce development in youth mental health.

Recent initiatives include public grants to expand support for underserved young people.

Gomez has described this work as her most meaningful achievement.

While building a successful beauty brand is rewarding, she emphasizes that aligning it with a greater purpose adds significant value. Her ongoing involvement demonstrates how personal experience and public influence can drive systemic change.
