Kendall Jenner made her Venice Film Festival red carpet debut on September 3, 2026, delivering one of the evening’s standout fashion moments.

At the premiere of Martin McDonagh’s Wild Horse Nine, a Golden Lion contender, the supermodel and 818 Tequila founder wore a shimmering vintage Giorgio Armani gown, evoking classic Hollywood style and complementing the festival’s cinematic atmosphere.

Jenner, 30, selected a form-fitting, scoop-neck dress from Giorgio Armani’s Fall/Winter 1995 ready-to-wear collection, the year of her birth.

The gown’s column silhouette featured sequins with metallic gold floral embroidery and beading. Clear crystal gemstones outlined the neckline, while a low-cut back and single zipper provided subtle elegance. Jenner omitted the original runway’s oversized floral brooch, opting for a bare collarbone and a modern finish.

She completed the look with cushion-cut diamond drop earrings by Briony Raymond and nude peep-toe stilettos by Aquazzura, specifically the So Nude sandal in powder-pink napa leather.

Her long dark hair was styled in soft, glossy waves with a zig-zag middle part, and her makeup remained natural and polished. The overall effect was refined golden-age glamour, allowing the vintage gown to stand out.

This appearance marked Jenner’s official Venice Film Festival red carpet debut and only her second visit to the city.

She arrived the previous day in a relaxed outfit: a sleeveless ecru top with matching trousers, chocolate-brown leather ballet flats from The Row, and a tan quilted-suede Chanel weekender bag from the Resort 2027 collection. The contrast between her arrival and premiere looks highlighted her versatility, shifting from casual ease to red-carpet glamour.

Jenner’s attendance in Venice is linked to her role as global fragrance ambassador for Emporio Armani, a partnership announced earlier in 2026.

She is the face of the brand’s “Power of You” campaign, and her festival appearance, with Armani Beauty as an official partner, was a natural extension of this collaboration. Jenner’s debut added to the 2026 festival’s high-profile lineup, which included George and Amal Clooney, Laura Dern, Claire Foy, and others. Her choice of vintage Armani over a new custom design demonstrated confidence in archival fashion, a trend favoured by celebrities seeking history and craftsmanship.
