The Billboard Women in Music Awards 2026 took place at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on April 29, celebrating the talent and influence of women in the global music industry.
The event, hosted by Keke Palmer, honoured established trailblazers and emerging artists across genres, and featured both live performances and notable red carpet appearances.
This year’s ceremony combined glamour with substance, recognising women whose creativity and innovation continue to shape the industry. On the red carpet, attendees showcased fashion choices that reflected their unique artistic identities, from sophisticated to bold, unconventional styles.
Star-Studded Honorees at Billboard Women in Music 2026
The awards celebrated a diverse lineup of honorees who represent the breadth of today’s music scene:
- Teyana Taylor received the Visionary Award, honoring her multifaceted career as a singer, songwriter, actress, and creative force.
- Zara Larsson took home the Breakthrough Award, acknowledging her rising global pop dominance.
- Tate McRae earned the Hitmaker Award for her chart-topping success and Gen-Z appeal.
- Other notable recipients included Kehlani (Impact Award), Laufey (Innovator Award), Mariah the Scientist (Rising Star Award), Thalia (Icon Award), Ella Langley (Powerhouse Award), and additional recognitions for global acts like BINI (Philippines Global Force Award).
The evening also featured an impressive roster of presenters, including Brandi Carlile, Cara Delevingne, Ciara, Dionne Warwick, Lainey Wilson, Tyla, and more, adding layers of industry legacy and star power.
Red Carpet Highlights
The red carpet featured standout ensembles that celebrated individuality and confidence.
Keke Palmer, the host, brought her signature charisma and style to the event. Her fashion choice set an energetic tone for an evening of performances and celebration.
