We may not know much about her acting prowess, but we do know that when it comes to fashion, Lupita Nyong’o never disappoints. She’s a master of wearing vibrant colors, and now she has won the style competition at Cannes before the event even began.
The black beauty proved her fashion-wiseness in her famous 2014 Oscars dress, and now here she is at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival’s Opening Ceremony Wednesday taking center stage in a Gucci chiffon plisse gown.
Lupita Nyong’o made a grand entrance into the event in a custom pleated twirl-worthy Gucci chiffon design featuring a mini capelet and embellished hand-painted floral crystals along the plunging neckline and at the waist.
With her signature hairstyle, she finished the ensemble with diamond drop Chopard earrings and a coordinating double-strand headband. We are lusting already.
