The 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to Los Angeles for the first time in nearly twenty years, turning Sony Pictures Studios into a showcase for wings, lingerie, and dynamic performances.

Over 60 models walked the runway on October 18, featuring both established Angels and new talent.

Notably, 16 mothers participated in the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, showing that motherhood and modeling can coexist at the highest levels of the industry.

From veterans who shaped the show’s early years to newcomers balancing infants and careers, these women brought both star power and resilience to the runway.

The evening included live performances by Tate McRae, Megan Thee Stallion, Katseye, and Megan Moroney, as well as the return of the diamond-encrusted Fantasy Bra, worn by Kylie Jenner in her Victoria’s Secret debut.

However, the presence of mothers highlighted a key theme: the runway is open to women at every stage of life.

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show history stretches back to the 1990s, when names like Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Candice Swanepoel helped turn the annual event into a cultural phenomenon.

After a multi-year pause, the show revived in 2024 and has since expanded its casting to include greater diversity in body type, background, and life experience.

The 2026 show continued this evolution while honoring its classic Angels.

Hosting the event in Los Angeles, described by creative director Adam Selman as “the city of angels,” was symbolic and allowed new and established mothers to share the spotlight.

Barbara Palvin delivered one of the night’s most notable moments.

The Hungarian model, who welcomed daughter Sylvie with husband Dylan Sprouse only weeks earlier, returned to the runway with composure.

Her appearance so soon after childbirth highlighted the physical demands of modeling and the determination required to balance family and career.

Elsa Hosk, another returning Angel, also walked as a new mother. She shares daughter Tuuli, age five, and newborn Flora with fiancé Tom Daly. Both women exemplified the increasing visibility of postpartum models on major fashion stages.

Longtime favorites contributed their own stories.

Adriana Lima, one of the most iconic Angels in Victoria’s Secret history, is mother to daughters Valentina and Sienna with former husband Marko Jarić and son Cyan with Andre Lemmers; she also co-parents her partner’s children.

Alessandra Ambrosio, celebrating two decades of association with the brand, has daughter Anja and son Noah with former fiancé Jamie Mazur. Candice Swanepoel shares sons Anacan and Ariel with former partner Hermann Nicoli.

Ashley Graham, a vocal advocate for body diversity, is raising sons Isaac, Malachi, and Roman with husband Justin Ervin.

Each of these women has appeared in previous editions, and their continued presence in 2026 reinforced that experience and motherhood can enhance, not limit, a modeling career.

Other mothers on the runway included Behati Prinsloo, who has daughters Dusty Rose and Gio Grace plus a young son with husband Adam Levine; Gigi Hadid, mother to daughter Khai with Zayn Malik; Irina Shayk, who shares daughter Lea De Seine with Bradley Cooper; Jasmine Tookes, mother to Mia and Mateo with husband Juan David Borrero; Grace Elizabeth, raising sons Noah and Lucas with husband Nicolas Krause; Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who has son Jack and daughter Isabella with partner Jason Statham; Ming Xi, mother to Ronaldo and Romee with husband Mario Ho; Caroline Trentini, who has sons Bento and Benoah with husband Fabio Bartelt; and Daiane Sodre, mother to daughter Lily-Rose with Julian Edelman.

Kylie Jenner, making her first Victoria’s Secret appearance in the Fantasy Bra, is mother to Stormi and Aire with Travis Scott. The presence of these 16 women demonstrated that the 2026 cast represented a wide range of family experiences.

The broader context is significant.

Fashion has long faced criticism for narrow beauty standards and limited representation of mothers, particularly those who return to work soon after giving birth.

Since its revival, Victoria’s Secret has expanded its casting to include plus-size models, transgender models, and women of various ages and backgrounds.

Featuring mothers aligns with this shift.

Palvin’s quick return and Hosk’s appearance with a newborn drew attention for both their impact and the statement they made about resilience and choice.

At the same time, the show maintained its entertainment value with elaborate wings, vibrant sets, and energetic performances throughout.

For viewers, the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show offered more than lingerie and celebrity appearances.

It featured a lineup where motherhood was neither hidden nor treated as secondary.

Whether in classic Angel looks or making high-profile debuts, the mothers on the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway showed that parenting and a demanding career can coexist on one of fashion’s most visible stages.

As the show evolves, this visibility is likely to remain one of its most meaningful developments.
