A whole lot has been going on in the denim department this year. From Vetements and Levi’s collaboration to rework the traditional denim pants into bare butt jeans, Topshop’s clear plastic jeans, to Y/Project high-waisted convertible jeans, that’s even enough to say denim jeans are already having its fair share of modernization in 2017.
Glamour.
But while these jeans were surprisingly shocking having featured unexpected details, everyone was on tenterhooks to see how it would look like in real life. Funnily enough, we’ve never seen anyone dabbling with the bare butt or the clear plastic jeans but Gigi Hadid has proven she could pull off the convertible jeans like a runway model that she is.
Basically, these jeans are not the type of pants you can expect mom to keep a smiling face, considering how it’s hanging on but Gigi stepped out in them, teamed with a nicely tucked in white tee, nude heels, and a sleek top handle bag. And it looks like the temps were a bit favorable because it won’t take the model more than a second to convert them into some Daisy Dukes.
