Beyonce Wore An All-White Corset Top and Matching Harem Pants For Cécred Launch Party

Beyoncé attended the official launch party for her new hair care line, Cécred, on Thursday.

The event, held in Los Angeles, had a strict dress code – all-white everything. And Beyoncé set the bar high.

For her outfit, the superstar opted for a head-to-toe look from Prabal Gurung’s Spring/Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection. She wore an angelic one-shoulder corset, elegantly tucked into a pair of pleated high-rise harem pants. The monochromatic look was further enhanced by a gauzy, nearly transparent parachute cover-up and ivory pointed-toe boots.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a complete Beyoncé look without her signature flair. She accessorized with silver-rimmed cat-eye sunglasses and diamond jewelry by De Beers, adding a touch of glamour to the ensemble.

The launch of Cécred has been highly anticipated, with Beyoncé giving fans a sneak peek on her Instagram back in May 2023. In the post, she shared that her first job was sweeping hair in her mother’s salon, highlighting her personal connection to the hair care industry. Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, also plays a crucial role in the brand as vice chairman.

Speaking about the launch, Beyoncé emphasized the importance of prioritizing the needs of textured hair, including her own. As a Black founder, she wanted to focus on areas where she saw the greatest need for healthy hair care. Scientific innovation and product performance were paramount to her vision for Cécred.

“As a Black founder, it was important to me to concentrate on where I saw the greatest need for healthy hair care and to place scientific innovation and product performance above all else,” Beyoncé said in a statement on Cécred’s launch. “We started by prioritizing the needs of textured hair like mine, along with other types and textures that need more moisture and strength.

My entire life and career, I’ve worn my hair in so many different ways: natural, flat-ironed, braids, colored, weaves, wigs. I want everyone to have the freedom to express their hair in ways that make them feel good, so I began by creating the essentials for hair and scalp health.”
