Yemi Alade Wears a Chic Black and White Monochrome Look in Abidjan

Yemi Alade has stepped out in another chic outfit in Abidjan, showing why she is quickly becoming the style star of the moment. 

The Mama Africa singer wore a black and white monochrome set in new snapshots shared on her social media account. In the photos, Alade wore a patterned long-sleeve shirt and mini skirt, which are of the same hue, with a long cape.

She completed the monochromatic outfit with a wide-brimmed hat and white-framed sunglasses to keep up with the theme of the outfit. Her footwear, a multicolored pair of heels with bow details added a differentiating pop of color.

Yemi has been in Cote d’Ivoire since last week for the official unveiling of the participating countries in the group stage of the CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2023, which will be hosted by the West African country from 13 January to 11 February 2024. There, the Nigerian artist, performed on stage alongside Magic System —  an Ivorian coupé-décalé band from Abidjan, and Egyptian actor and singer, Mohamed Ramadan. 

If you ask us, she dressed to impress for the night, showcasing her love for African prints in a look that featured Ankara jumpsuit and coordinated cape. Alade raised her beauty stakes with blush makeup, brown lips, and edgy braided mohawks.

The 34-year-old has become a celeb to watch for her streak of fashion statements. She’s no stranger when it comes to dishing out unthinkable hairstyles or dresses you won’t find anywhere.
