Among the guests was Mo Abudu, the name behind EbonyLife Media. The media mogul made a striking entrance in a vibrant multicolored long dress adorned with dramatic fringes that flowed elegantly from her shoulders.
Her striking outfit was complemented by flawlessly contoured makeup and blush-toned lips, making her a standout figure on the runway.
Joining her was the talented Nollywood actress Rita Dominic, who made her much-anticipated runway debut. Dominic donned a gorgeous strapless mini dress embellished with sculptural 3D floral motifs.
She opted for minimal accessories and wore a pair of black ankle strap heels while her hair was styled in a voluminous afro that highlighted her unique beauty. The audience showed their appreciation with applause as she sashayed down the runway like a true supermodel.
The night was further elevated by a surprise appearance from Nigerian singer D’Banj, real name, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo. He showcased a metallic long robe, bringing added flair to the already vibrant atmosphere of the evening.
Lanre Da Silva Ajayi’s collection celebrated the essence of its two-decade legacy, showcasing the brand’s innovative use of African print fabric and intricate floral motifs. Each piece was carefully crafted to embody sophistication and elegance — ranging from midi dresses to long, and figure-hugging gowns.
The designs encapsulated a modern take on traditional craftsmanship, appealing to both local and international audiences. With Mo Abudu and Rita Dominic lighting up the runway alongside the stunning designs, the event was a perfect mix of style and art.
