Taraji P. Henson Shone Brighter in a Sculptural Dress at the 55th NAACP Image Awards

Taraji P. Henson, the talented actress known for her roles in “The Color Purple” and “Hidden Figures,” graced the red carpet at the 55th NAACP Image Awards with her stunning presence.

Dressed in a vibrant and eye-catching gown from Del Core’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection, Henson stole the show with her impeccable style and poise.

The luminous actress made a bold fashion statement in her florescent yellow dress, which featured a large sculptural bodice. The three-dimensional detail adorned with small crystals shaped organically around the bustline and waist, creating a truly unique and striking look. Adding to the elegance, the strapless dress also boasted a small train, adding an element of glamour to the ensemble.

Del Core’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection showcased similar sculptural details integrated into the shoulders, hips, and necklines of various looks. It is evident that Henson’s choice of attire perfectly complemented the designer’s artistic vision.

Not only did her dress captivate the audience, but Henson also paid careful attention to her hair and makeup. Her dark brown tresses were slicked into a low braided ponytail, allowing her radiant face to take center stage.

Her makeup focused on accentuating her eyes, with a soft matte eyeshadow gracing her lids and a delicate mauve shade enhancing her lips. To complete the ensemble, Henson opted for a bold faux-chainlink necklace and matching silver sandals, showcasing her attention to detail and style.

It comes as no surprise that Henson’s look was meticulously crafted by the dynamic styling duo Wayman and Micah. These talented stylists have worked closely with Henson in the past, including her appearance at the American Black Film Festival Honors, where she wore a stunning strapless gown from Nicole by NF.

Their experience and expertise in dressing celebrities such as Da’vine Joy Randolph, Colman Domingo, and Jon Batiste make them the go-to stylists for creating unforgettable red-carpet moments.

Gorgeous!
