After a massive retail success of her book: ‘On Becoming’ and successfully launching her bag collection barely 3 years ago, Toke Makinwa is expanding her business empire and will soon add skincare, beauty products to her repertoire. Confirming the news, although, with no clarity regarding the specifics of the TM Beauty, one thing is for sure that as unstoppable as she is, Makinwa will never disappoint.
The exciting news came along with new images of the 34-year-old released on her social media yesterday. Clad in a nude bodysuit with a top knot hairstyle and her perfectly brushed, super-long false eyelashes, Makinwa threw a series of poses with captions that teased the new line.
“BAWSE…. @tokemakinwabeauty February 20/20,” she wrote “BaWSe it up, brave, bold, walk into a room and own it. Do the damn thing.”
In other posts which she shared on the brand’s official page, Makinwa also teased the new beauty products with a question such as, “what does beauty mean to you?’
And at the top of the page, there’s also a display of four colors, which somehow signals a makeup collection.
But whatever she’s cooking up, we will definitely get to the bottom of it comes the launch date on 20th February.
