Chanel Staged It’s Métiers d’Art 2021 Show At The Château de Chenonceau

Chanel definitely knows how to build excitement for its latest collection. And one of the ways the French luxury label does it is by taking a trip to different locations every year. Having known in the past for staging its Métiers d’Art collection in cities like Mumbai, Hamburg, Paris, New York, and Dallas, the covid-19 pandemic left the brand with no option other than forgoing its usual expedition. For the 2021 Métiers d’Art collection, Creative Director Virginie Viard still did something to keep up with the brand’s tradition: Held it’s latest show at the Château de Chenonceau (a.k.a Le Château des Dames) in France’s Loire Valley, a place closer to home but two hours journey away from Paris.

The show had no audience, however, but only the brand ambassador, actress Kristen Stewart, who sat on a bench to watch the models parade the house’s latest offerings. What’s in the collection? Virginie Viard looked within to embrace feminine simplicity, giving fans swoon-worthy items with a mix of tweed dresses, leggings, and skirts — some of which were complete with pearl necklaces. Scroll to see why you might fall hard for the fun, pretty pieces.
