African fashion girls across the board can all agree that Ankara fashion is the current sartorial hit of the moment. And Nomzamo Mbatha outfits at the Simon “Mabhunu” Sabela Film and Television Awards in SA yesterday only prove our point — she has been wearing it occasionally, but yesterday was a different case as the actress wore 3 different adorable Ankara pieces (and 1 halter neck dress) that we have no option than to fall in love.
The best part about her fashion moments is that all of the pieces she wore are flattering, comfortable and easy to recreate, which makes them instant hits in our book. We’re also straight away going to steal her styling tricks on one of the pieces: red headwrap, red lipstick and red pants which added more color and made the actress epitomized the Nubian Princess. We’re not only feeling her style, we love the fact that she appreciates Ankara fashion just as much as we do. Well done Nozambo!
