Versace Spring 2018 Show Was A Reunion Of ’90s Supermodels

Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and the rest of the new generation models may be your favorite runway queens but when it comes to original supermodels, there are a few names who have made their marks in the fashion industry that can hardly be forgotten. We are talking about Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Carla Bruni, and Helena Christensen. These women were the It-models back in the nineties and have continued to remain a muse to the latest generation of fashion stars.

However, it came as a big surprise today during Versace Spring 2018 show at Milan Fashion Week when the five women reunited on the runway in matching gold Versace chainmail gown alongside Donatella Versace to pay a tribute to her brother Gianni Versace, who died 20 years ago in 1997. Guests and showgoers were thrown into a serious state of emotion as they walked the runway hand-in-hand behind Donatella to close the show:

And of course, the collection was paraded by the supermodels in the making which includes Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes, Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid, plus the latest runway favorite, Kaia Gerber who’s also Cindy Crawford’s daughter.
