For over 27 years, South African Fashion Week has been a beacon for local fashion, consistently showcasing the best of the country’s creativity. This year’s summer-spring collections were no exception, with SA Fashion Week collaborating with Mall of Africa — the largest fashion destination in the country, to present nine shows with thirty-one collections.
The event took place between April 18th and 20th, drawing fashion enthusiasts and the public to witness designers unveil their latest creations in style. Sustainability was a key theme on the runways, with renowned designers like Imprint, Ephymol, Ludwig, Fikile Sokhulu, and Sun Goddess presenting accessible and timeless pieces that authentically represented their brands.
Take a look at some of the standout looks from this uniquely South African Fashion Week SS24.

July 8, 2026Esther Ejoh is a Fashion Editor at Fashion Police Nigeria, where she writes all things fashion, beauty, and celebrity style, with a sharp eye and an even sharper pen. She’s the girl who’ll break down a Met Gala look one minute, rave about a Nigerian beauty brand the next, and still find time to binge a movie or get lost in a novel. Style, storytelling, and self-care? That’s her holy trinity.
