It is often said that women live by make-up, and we’re totally agreed. In a video filmed by a spring make-up artist and blogger Heidi Hamoud, contouring and strobing isn’t regards as anything when it comes to achieving a flawless face, but baking and caking turns out to be the latest and perfect beauty technique, which according to the report utilized by Kim Kardashian’s make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic from time to time, in order to give the 34-year-old’s face the perfectly poreless finish that she has become famous for.

As Dailymail puts it, Baking or Caking is the technique of putting light powder on your face and letting it sit for 10 t0 30 minutes before brushing it off; and the technique has been utilized by the drag community for years because it ensures that your make-up will stay put under hot lights.

Following the new beauty term – ‘Baking’ or ‘Cooking’ your makeup, Tonee Roberio, a makeup artist explained to Refinery 29 that – ‘It’s used as a way of really setting the foundation into the skin so it lasts longer, without the need to reapply powder constantly while performing.’

In the 14 minutes video tutorial posted by the blogger that has already gained more than 310,000 views, Heidi explained how to master the art baking using the appropriate cosmetics. Watch the video below:
