This Model Walked The Runway While Breastfeeding Her 5-Month-Old Baby

For those of you shying away from breastfeeding your adorable baby in the public if need be, here is model Mara Martin breastfeeding her daughter in all glory. As one of the 16 finalists who took part in Sports Illustrated‘s Miami Swim Week fashion show over the weekend, Martin melted the hearts of every onlooker while walking the runway at the same time fussed over her 5-month-old baby:

 

The beautiful mom hit the runway in a metallic gold, one-shouldered bikini while her baby was clad with a diaper and noise-canceling headphones. As the model proves, fashion is becoming more inclusive and diverse, and of course, this runway show alone was a clear representation of motherhood. 

 

 

Meanwhile, social media wasn’t left out as a bunch of users took online to praise Sports Illustrated and Martin for the inspirational show.  There were positive comments like: “This is a true working mom on the go.” “Amazing…I absolutely love this, well done for normalizing breastfeeding.” “I love it. This should be a regular thing. She’s so beautiful and happy in her own skin.
