With top Nigerian designers such as Andrea Iyamah, Tiffany Amber, Lisa Folawiyo, Mai Atafo and a host of others that were scheduled to showcase on the Day 3 of Lagos Fashion Week, we weren’t expect anything less. At Lisa Folawiyo, there was this subtle nod to less is more and in her true signature, printed pieces were reworked into modern silhouettes.
Meanwhile, Iyamah was all about maximum glamour whose models descended the runway in pieces with strategically cut-outs, low-cut neckline and side split. Another designer worth shouting about is none other than Maybelline. Although she had a few pieces of clothes to display, there was something for everyone — thanks to the new art of adornment, insanely-chic hair inspiration and a tribute her motherland.
