It seems like the zig-zag braids trend is already soaring up for the year 2022. Last week it was Yemi Alade who flaunted the gorgeous braiding hairstyle in platinum blonde and now, Mayowa Nicholas is also modeling the trend on Instagram.

Five days ago, January 25, Mayowa Nicholas shared a series of new images on social media, wearing a cropped and sleeveless turtleneck sweater with low-rise bootcut denim pants. She accessorized the party look with a matching black handbag, a pair of block heel sandals, and hoop earrings. She kept her beauty look highly glamorous with full-face makeup and lustrous lips, along with the complementary and protective hairstyle.

“Give it Up to me 🖤,” captioned the runway darling and Victoria’s Secret collective model.

This comes a week after she was spotted in messy faux locs, her first hairstyle for the new year. She was photographed posing on a balcony with a beautiful city view serving as the backdrop. Nicholas dressed for the chilly temperature as she sported a tye-die puffer jacket and wash denim pants.

In her interview last year, the model advised women to embrace their uniqueness as there’s no limit to what a woman can do. “My advice to other women is to take up space! You are beautiful. You are worthy. You are unique. There’s no limit to what we can achieve as women. But most of all the world needs your voice,” she said.
