Naomi Campbell Joins A New Modeling Agency To Help New Talents

Naomi Campbell is taking her fashion activism and philanthropy to greater heights.

The 51-year-old supermodel has joined forces with Women Management, a model agency within the Elite World Group network, to forge ahead with her mission of helping creative fashion talents in emerging markets. Campbell has been actively involved in supporting new talents in Africa, the Middle East, India, and Europe, and as she pointed out, ‘there are so many voices that deserve to be heard.’

“I am absolutely thrilled to join Women Management,” she told WWD. “Together, in partnership with Elite World Group, we will change the game for fashion as we know it. For years, it’s been my personal mission to support creative talent in emerging markets. From Africa to India, to the Middle East and Europe, there are so many voices that deserve to be heard. It’s so important that the fashion industry looks beyond its core capitals to invest in this extraordinary talent. Working in true partnership with Women Management and Elite World Group, we will be able to leverage a powerful global network to help more people share their genius with the world. Anything is possible in this next chapter, and I can’t wait to get to work!”

In an affirmatory statement, Women Management also welcomed the mother-of-one into the agency and described the partnership as an honor.

“Naomi is an icon. A supermodel. An elemental force. She has shaped and redefined fashion and culture many times over. We’re honored that she’s returned to her roots at Women New York to continue her unrivaled career, and we are proud to work together to elevate talent from emerging markets around the globe,” said Akeem Rasool, image director, Women Management.

This comes a month after she hosted Doha’s Fashion for Relief, a charity Event she founded in 2015 to raise funds for various environmental and humanitarian causes. The Qatari event which was however under the patronage and presence of her Highness Sheikha Moza Bin Nasser, brought together other industry personalities to support the Education Above All global foundation in the region.
