Rihanna Bundles Up In A Quilted Jacket For A Shopping Trip With A$AP Rocky

A few days after being declared the Barbadian National Hero, Rihanna was photographed on a shopping trip with A$AP Rocky in New York City. But there was no LBD or slip dress in sight, instead, the Fenty beauty creator donned a statement quilted Miu Miu jacket, looking and amazing with her gorgeous jumbo braids tied up scantily on top of her head.

With the chilling weather, Riri’s look also includes matching outerwear and billowing pants trousers which she completed with black suede booties, Miu Miu hand gloves, and white-framed sunglasses. Of course, she was accompanied by her lover A$AP Rocky, who equally looked well put-together in his red jacket, blue denim pants, and white sneakers.

This comes two days after she received the National Hero insignia in her home country Barbados, where she grazed the ceremony in a plunging white mini dress and matching blazer. While declaring the 33-year-old a National Hero, Prime Minister Mia Mottley said the nation is proud of the singer for her good courses.

“On behalf of a grateful nation, but an even prouder people, we therefore present to you the designee for national hero of Barbados, Ambassador Robyn Rihanna Fenty. May you continue to shine like a diamond and bring honor to your nation by your works, by your actions and to do credit wherever you shall go,” Mottley said

In response, the Work singer expressed her utmost gratitude, saying that ‘nothing compares to being recognized in the soil that you grew in.’

“This is a day that I will never, ever forget. It’s also a day that I never saw coming,” she said in a brief speech. “I have traveled the world and received several awards and recognitions, but nothing, nothing compares to being recognized in the soil that you grew in.”
