Hundreds Of Uganda Men Walked The Streets In High Heels To Protest Violence Against Women

 

Hundreds of Ugandan men from law enforcement and civil agencies, who are somehow non-misogynistic stormed the streets of Kampala in women high heels, handbags, women clothing and banners to protest the violence against women. 

It is reported that over 70% of married Ugandan women undergo domestic abuse and violence by their partners, according to the Uganda bureau of statistics. But the good news? The aim of this campaign is to awaken the consciousness of men to say no to misogyny — whether sexual abuse or any form of domestic violence against women.
