Everyone Is Wearing This Little Adire Prints Skirt

While there are countless things to wear, especially during summer, the miniskirt is in fact a must-have article of fashion this season. Year in year out, the little skirt continues to maintain its prominence for off-duty and weekend dressing and since the item receives so much attention, you can hardly scroll down your ‘gram feed without a miniskirt look.

We’ve seen denim and African prints minis in recent days but one look that’s surprisingly taking more space is non-other than the printed Adire skirt from a Lagos-based brand, 2207 by TBally. Seen amongst the celebrity circle—from Tiwa Savage, Linda Osifo to Toke Makinwa and other fashion girls, the short hemline skirt comes in two-tones and features a side slit and massive bow details.

As someone who loves show, I am particularly fond of the skirt as I can see this piece seamlessly slotting into my own wardrobe. While the styling options are clearly countless, Tiwa Savage nailed the look blending sexy and chic with a white off-the-shoulder shirt and a pair of sneakers. Of course, we cannot downplay Toke Makinwa who also took the look to the sexy lane, opting for a sheer, long-sleeve black top and matching face mask.

Nevertheless, it seemed like Linda Osifo wanted to take all the styling trophies for this look and she almost did, opting for a white fitted turtleneck top and a pair of animal prints heels—a look we’d save for a date night.

The Adire skirt is sold at N17,500 and comes in different colors as seen on actress Ini Edo below. We just love the multi-color patterns that really make this little skirt POP.
