After months of interruption on large gatherings due to social distancing, there’s hope that social life is gradually taking its shape. First, it was the 2020 MTV VMAs — the first major red carpet show during quarantine and now the Venice Film Festival.

The annual event kicked off on Wednesday 2nd and will run through Saturday, 12th September. Regardless of the coronavirus pandemic, Luca Zaia, the governor of Veneto, confirmed that the film festival would go ahead but with strict safety precautions. One of which is to reduce the number of films involved. 

Of course, the show which often gathers famous faces from across the globe, may not be as usual, quite a number of them have already hit the red carpet. We are talking about names like Cate Blanchett, Taylor Hill, Stacy Martin, Lotte Verbeek, and the rest who are bringing all the sassiness, sparkles, and glamour to the red carpet.
