BLOKE:
This knitwear-focused brand is one of the few in Nigeria. Inspired by the Nigerian city life, attitude, environment, and architecture, the creative director and head designer, Faith Oluwajimi began the brand in Abeokuta in 2013 but moved to Lagos where the brand is now based. Bloke brought an alternative perspective to knitwear by creating designs that purposefully blur the lines of gender. Once rated 34th out of 200 emerging Nigerian fashion brands changing fashion globally as listed by Vogue Talents on Vogue Italia and they have continued to break ground in the world of fashion.
