These words perfectly capture the recent wedding of popular Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, better known as Davido. It was one of the most anticipated events of the year, and the social media buzz confirms it. The hashtag #Chivido2024 has taken over Twitter, trending at number one with over 70.5k posts at the time this article was written.
On Tuesday, June 25th, in Lagos State, the star artist married his longtime partner, Chioma Rowland, in a traditional ceremony. The viral wedding photos revealed two key things: Davido is incredibly wealthy and cherished by his family and friends, and Nigerian celebrities certainly know how to turn up.
