The year 2020 may be disrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but fashion will always continue, regardless. This is evident in the Spring 2021 New York Fashion Week where fashion brands are pulling out all the stops to ensure social distancing is fully observed in response to the health and safety guidelines. For Christian Siriano, the show was better staged at his backyard, a peaceful and serene ambiance with a forest of trees giving off a nature backdrop. There was also a somewhat swimming pool where Siriano created his runway out of it.

As for the collection, the 34-year-old American designer had his focus on sleek and extravagant silhouettes on workwear pieces, party, and dramatic red carpet confections—all which came complete with matching face masks, and fedora for some looks. Inspired by the movies Christian Siriano actually watched during the Covid-19 lockdown, his Spring/Summer 2021 runway presentation was the kind of show that would anyone want more, especially when Coco Rocha jumped inside the swimming in her complete ensemble.

“Fabrics, shapes, and silhouettes from each film are referenced in this collection but in a new modern way for our customer,” Siriano said. “The collection feels romantic with touches of evening however some of our favorite pieces this season are made of a light heather gray knit for easy living – while remaining chic and elegant. Even at home, things can inspire us, and I hope this collection shows that fashion remains powerful despite the circumstances.”

When the day of your wedding calls, it might be easy to forget all the beautiful pictures you’re supposed to take with your dress since you’ll be brimming with joy. Remember you’re going to wear it once, so make the most of it by taking all kinds of sweet pictures — because as you know, photos bring back sweet memories. While your photographer is assumed to have the knowledge of the right light and angles for the perfect photography, it is also important to hint him on your personal scenarios to ensure your wedding dress is perfectly captured. This means you could peer out the window to give a perfect backside of your dress or you could ask your groom to lift you in order for your veil to sling nicely. What we’re saying is, when it comes to a wedding, you only have a day to wear your dreamy dress, so you have to get inventive with your pictures for good memories. To help you with some ideas, we’ve rounded up 15 gorgeous pictures to make that wedding dress worthwhile. Keep clicking on to discover.

When the dress is hanging.

No matter how joyful you are, don’t forget to take a picture of your dress on the hanger because this is where your real bridal journey starts.

If possible let the groom carry you.

It might be hard for some grooms, but the shot will give a good side view of your dress and as well show off your veil slinging.

Take a shot while walking.

Ask your photographer to capture you in motion in order to show your dress in action. At the same time, this picture means you’re officially stepping into your new life.

When you’re being dressed.

There’s nothing as sweet as seeing a picture of you in the future when you were in the making of becoming a bride.

This is classic photography many brides often forget. It’s not only cute, but the real beauty of your dress is sure to come out, especially when the train is spreading out.

Just the back view.

Every corner of your dress is important to show off and the back view cannot be left out.

Fussing over by your bridesmaids.

This is your day and it’s important your dress is being given the VVIP treat.

Fussing over by your mother.

A shot of your mother styling your dress will not only remind you of your kindergarten days, but it also shows you have her blessings for the days ahead.

A shot on the street.

Not everyone will attend your wedding ceremony or show up at the reception. A shot on the street is not only perfect considering the backdrop but it is another opportunity for strangers to have a glimpse of your dress.

Focus only on the details

We love how this bride is seating to reveal the details of her dress perfectly.

An alone picture.

A picture of you that seems like you are reflecting on the future is adorable and at the same time directs all the attention to your dress.

Your wedding dress train in the picture.

Brides always have different ways of flaunting their trains but we must admit, this is the most adorable we’ve ever seen.

A picture before dancing.

Take a picture of you when your dress is wrinkle-free before you step into the hall and start dancing.

A shot after the ceremony.

Taking a shot of you and your groom just when you’re about to leave after a successful wedding ceremony not only give off the ‘just the two of us’ vibes, but it means you’re officially done with the dress.
