Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas are officially parents.
The Hollywood actress and American singer-songwriter welcomed their first child, together, via surrogate and Chopra announced on Instagram on Friday, January 21. “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate,” the Quantico actress said in the statement. “We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
The couple’s Instagram however, has been awash with congratulatory messages from well-wishers since the announcement hit social media.

In an interview with Vanity Fair earlier this month, Chopra spoke about expanding her family with Jonas.
“They’re a big part of our desire for the future,” she told the magazine on the possibility of having a baby. “By God’s grace, when it happens, it happens.” While the two are busy in their respective careers, she also joked that they’re “not too busy to practice” making a baby.
In 2018, Chopra 39, and Jonas Brothers musician, 29, got married in a three-day wedding celebration that combined both Christian and Hindu marriage traditions. The glamorous ceremonies took place in front of 225 guests at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India, in which Nick’s father officiated the Christian ceremony, as Chopra oozed elegance in her long-sleeve high-neck Ralph Lauren gown and 75-foot veil.
There were also a series of musical performances, along with choreography with Priyanka describing the occasion as “literally what dreams were made of, she told PEOPLE while gushing over Nick”
“Walking out and seeing him standing at the altar for the first time with the sun behind him was just something out of a fairytale for me,” she said. “I could not have planned for how perfect that sky was or how the birds flew when the music started or what the string quartet sounded like or what he looked like. Everything was perfect.”
In Nick’s eyes, it was a wow-worthy moment. “From the moment I saw her walk out and a million other moments, ‘Wow’ is the only word that came to mind,” said the pop singer.
However, the pair who spent their new year in a yacht holidaying has also been making red carpet appearances together, and four years later, they are the latest parents. Congratulations!
