Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have become quite an internet sensation in the past couple of months but unfortunately, their relationship is hitting the rocks. According to multiple reports, Kim and Davidson have ended their whirlwind 9-month romance and they have decided to just be friends.
A source who spoke with E! reveals that although the pair have “a lot of love and respect for each other,” the long distance and their busy work schedules “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.” As per E!, Kim and Davidson broke up “sometime this week” at a time when Davidson is in Australia filming the A24 stoner movie Wizards! while the mother of mother-of-four leaves in Los Angeles with her family.
This however comes a few days after different sources that spoke with Us Weekly and E! explained that Kim and Davidson were doing just fine and were having good communication even when they’re are far away from each other.
“The distance hasn’t been an issue for Kim and Pete’s relationship while he’s been away filming,” the source explained. “They are still going strong and making it work. When they are apart, they are in constant communication. [They] FaceTime consistently [and are] always getting quick phone calls in when they can.”
The source continued, detailing that Kardashian is very much into Davidson. “Kim loves that he’s always making her laugh and he truly makes her day when they talk,” the source said. “She is still smitten over him and it just works for her.”
As per the source who spoke with Us Weekly, their communication is being thwarted by different time zones between the two countries even when they always try to keep in touch. “Kim and Pete are in constant communication,” the source said, adding that the “time zones and filming call times make talking difficult.” But however, they are always finding a way to keep their romance going.
“They send each other love notes while the other is sleeping and FaceTime whenever their schedules link up,” the source said. “The distance has been hard, but even communicating long-distance is exciting for them.” In addition, the source added that “[They] can’t get enough of each other,” and “[They’re] still very smitten with each other and can’t wait until they’re in the same place again.”
However, neither Kim nor Davidson have yet commented on the split. The pair has been making headlines since they were first linked together following Kim and Kanye’s divorce.
