Paris Fashion Week: Statement Pants Trend

Paris fashion week continues. And this time, designers on Monday took over the runway with statement pants. As lovers of pants, we were thrilled to see the designs that went down the runway. Designers like Elie Saab and Fausto Puglisi for Emmanuel Ungaro from regular statement pants you’re used to, took it to another level of elegance. [via StyleBlazer]

Elie Saab paired a pair of sky blue lace trousers with a sky blue lace-insert tee and a scarf tied around the neck creating a monochromic look perfect for something as simple as a Sunday brunch or as formal as a spring wedding. The black lace pants shown at Fausto Puglisi were paired with a black long-sleeve, collared lace shirt with a black lace jacket thrown over the shoulders that gives the look a suit feel. The look is so sharp, we wouldn’t be surprised if someone wore it to to the office. That someone would have to be the boss of course as skin can be seen through the suit.
