The Red Carpet Trend You’ll Never See Nigerian Celebs Wearing

We all have a different sense of style so as celebrities when it comes to red carpet. In fact, culture seems to play a major role in how we dress — which means there are specific items a certain group would wear, and also pieces they’ll never wear. It’s no news that naked dress was and still one of the biggest trend, with new variations popping out on daily basis.

A year plus ago, it was the sheer version that was all over the red carpet, and we even saw a bunch of our favorite celebrities embracing the trend in the most dangerously sexy way. Now, if you’ve been keeping your eyes open, you’d notice a new naked dress trend, where celebs bare their crotches, in the most risque waist-high slits dress alongside a tape or c-string thong to cover the private part.

This trend is now a major red carpet hit for celebrities with the intention to steal the limelight by all means. Kendall Jenner is a fan and Bella Hadid tested it out during Cannes Film Festival, where she flashed her crotch. And over the weekend, two models Giulia Salemi and Dayane Mello took the showgoers at Venice Film Festival by surprise, where they displayed their crotches to the camera.

As you know, we always rely on our celebs to step out in the coolest, most modest and forward-feeling dress. So it’d be a big surprise to see any of them clad into such a revealing number. Although, they’ve never been afraid to push boundaries with their styles, but we trust this trend is what they would never want to try on — because it’s way too revealing and we’re not a fan!
