Yvonne Orji, Ciara, Demi Moore, And More Stars Looks Amazing At Elle’s 2021 Women In Hollywood Event

The stars were out in force at this year’s Elle Women in Hollywood Event, including Yvonne Orji, Ciara, Demi Moore, Angelina Jolie, and a host of other actresses. Organized by Elle Magazine, the 2021 event which took place at the Dolby Family Terrace in Los Angeles celebrates Hollywood’s most resilient women, honoring Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Jodie Comer, Gemma Chan, Jennifer Hudson, Rita Moreno, Lauren Ridloff, Gal Gadot and Salma Hayek for their bravery.

According to Elle, some of these women jumped into action in a year that was plaque by the COVID pandemic and police brutality while some used their platforms to support activists on the frontline.  

“They channel trauma into art (Jennifer Hudson) and speak truth to power (Jodie Comer),” the magazine said. “They’re barrier breakers, from Rita Moreno, the first Latina to win an Oscar (for Best Supporting Actress), to Halle Berry, the first (and still only) Black woman to win the Best Actress Oscar, to Lauren Ridloff, who, like her Eternals character Makkari, is deaf, a first for Marvel films. Ridloff’s costars are tireless advocates for refugees (Angelina Jolie) and domestic violence survivors (Salma Hayek), and have spoken out against AAPI violence (Gemma Chan).”
