Tiwatope Savage (a.k.a Tiwa Savage) is going to say the final farewell today to her father who passed away two months. For this reason, the family of Savage held a memorial service to commemorate the life of the man yesterday and was attended by family members and close friends.
The singer later shared the look she wore to the burial ceremony, which she posed with her son Jamil and mother Cecilia Savage. For the occasion, Tiwa wore a contemporary Yoruba native attire with headgear in a theme of silver hue, along with the matching clutch bag. The 41-year-old who recently released a blockbuster with American R&B singer, Brandy, looked gorgeous in the stunning ensemble designed by TUBO.

Tiwa announced her father’s sad demise in July, describing it as a peaceful transition. In the Instagram post, she also expressed her sadness as she calls it a ‘tough time.’
“Early hours of this morning you made a peaceful transition.” the singer shared along with a picture of her father. “You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy, it’s been rough for you these past couple years but you are resting now. This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak. Rest In Perfect Peace my King”
She continued; “I love you daddy. Savy t’eko, pappin K.”
