There’s one particular thing we noticed about the 2016 Golden Globes Awards red carpet that seemed more like a good omen for the rest of red carpet shows in the year: Obviously, there was a shortage of naked dress, proving that the trend couldn’t make it into 2016; but plenty of plunging necklines was on display.
It might also be hard to forget in years Jennifer Lopez’s caped yellow gown with high slit by Giambattista Valli Couture, Brie Larson’s ’70s-inspired hand-embroidered Michael Kors gown or the vintage vibe of Cate Blanchett’s effortless Givenchy look, and Lady Gaga who looked exactly like Marilyn Monroe.
