The MET gala is finally here and the red carpet looks have started reeling in. The theme for this year’s edition is “Karl Lagerfeld: A line of beauty” in honor of the late fashion designer’s line of work and many of the biggest stars across film, television, music, and fashion showed up, appearing at the event either adhering to the theme or going the other way.
Nigerian Singer and songwriter, Tems made her appearance at the Met gala and for sure, the least was not expected. As her Met Gala debut, the singer pulled all the stops while dressed in a monochrome gown with a dramatic feathered headpiece.

The beautiful piece featured a black strapless bodice with dramatic detailing. Tems finished off her look with a matching headpiece, along with OTT opera gloves. As usual, she made a statement as the singer not only nailed the theme but it goes to show what to expect from the star in the future Met Galas.

The gown was designed by the award-winning Robert Wun and styled by the singer’s longtime stylist and friend, Dunsin Wright.
However, it’s no big surprise the “Free Mind” singer has more than a thing for dramatic headpieces. Remember her 2023 Oscars look that had everyone talking? Yes, Tems was back again doing what she does best but this time, in an understated statement look.
