Rita Dominic was all about the high-octane glamour on the red carpet last night. The actress, who attended the 17th edition of the Africa Movie Academy Awards — wore a gorgeous fit-and-flare halter gown designed by S.B Youme, her newfound and beloved label.
Usually one to keep it completely demure, the look was a departure from Dominic’s style comfort zone, but she pulled it off like the Nollywood glamazon that she is.
Check out the beautiful floral motifs on the dress as well as the crisis cross halterneck design which clearly bared her shoulders for all the glory. Dominic’s gown also featured a peekaboo cutout and we think she really had left the wondering eyes rolling.

She wore her in a pullback ponytail and kept her makeup fresh, along with dark eyeshadow and super lustrous nude lips. As per the actress, it takes a continent to create such a look as she credited her styling team.

AMAA is Africa’s most prestigious film award. It celebrates the movies across the continent, and although Rita Dominic, who won the award in 2012 for Best Actress did not win this year, she made sure her outfit was one for the book.
