Every year, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York opens its doors for celebrities for the annual Met Gala that takes place every first Monday in May but the doors were closed for this year’s event due to the global pandemic. Last night, from celebrities, designers, to supermodels, the social media was abuzz with the past Met Gala looks. So whether you’re not the fashion kind of gal, the looks were so breathtaking that it was impossible to scroll past without taking a glance.
Of course, Naomi Campbell also did not miss out. She shared her 2019 Met Gala look—a stunning Pier Paolo Piccioli creation for Valentino, where she wore an Haute Couture cape and dress in a pink hue. The dreamy and ethereal design was her all-time favorite look and according to the runway sweetheart, the dress was made in 38 hours.
As part of the honor of Met Gala, the 49-years-old also teamed up with Vogue to break down all her Met looks in the past years. Looking so young, the supermodel started with the Gianni Versace dress she wore back in 1990. She went ahead to explain all the looks with details and it’s quite an interesting video you’ll like to watch.
