Jenna Ortega Is Serving Gothic Glam With Every “Wednesday 2” Red Carpet Look

Jenna Ortega is back and she’s not just returning to our screens as the deadpan Wednesday Addams. She’s storming red carpets, press tours, and morning shows with looks that feel like fashion chapters in a gothic fairytale.

As season two of Wednesday premieres, Ortega is giving us method dressing at its finest. Not the kind that whispers the character in subtle ways, but full-on storytelling through style; every outfit serving gothic elegance, eerie glamour, and a rebellious charm that’s become her signature.

At just 22, the actress has evolved into something more than a Netflix star. She’s a red carpet renegade, curating looks that blur the line between who she plays and who she is. This season, as she makes her rounds promoting Wednesday season two, Ortega is proving one thing: she can dress and she does it like she’s casting spells.

From latex gowns and corsets to tailored blazers and theatrical accessories, her whole wardrobe transports you into a whole new world.

It all began on May 31, when the “Scream” star appeared at Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event at The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. Dressed in an ombré leather trench coat that faded from a stormy grey to a soft beige, Jenna Ortega looked like she stepped out of a noir film set in a dystopian future.

The coat was from Markgong’s spring/summer 2025 collection, and she styled it with a matching headscarf and oversized dark sunglasses. The overall effect was less “press event” and more “mysterious heiress with a dangerous past.” It was a look that set the tone; chic, slightly intimidating, and entirely unforgettable.

Then came the moment that sent the internet into a spiral: the London premiere of Wednesday season two on July 30. Ortega walked the red carpet in a couture snakeskin-textured latex gown by Ashi Studio, and more strikingly, she did it with no eyebrows illusion. The beauty look; bleached brows, a deep oxblood lip, and intense eye makeup, made her look like an alien queen who rules over a haunted palace.

The dress clung to her frame like it was sculpted just for her, and the entire vibe was otherworldly. Social media exploded. Fans and critics alike praised her daring choice, calling it bold, brilliant, and entirely on-brand for a girl who doesn’t just play goth; she embodies it.

Just one day later, on July 31, Jenna turned up in Paris, continuing her reign as Hollywood’s dark queen. The occasion was the opening of Le Beach Club de Mercredi, a Wednesday-themed fan event set up along the Seine. But instead of choosing something light or summery, Jenna leaned into her character’s roots.

She wore a corseted dress by Vivienne Westwood from the autumn 2025 collection. The neckline was deep and dramatic, and she accessorized with a pavé cross necklace by Loree Rodkin. Against the romantic Paris backdrop, she looked like a gothic muse painted in oil on a cathedral wall; sacred, stylish, and slightly dangerous.

On August 4, the screen goddess took a more refined approach in New York during her appearance on Good Morning America. Gone was the latex and corsetry and in its place, a structured single-breasted black blazer over a plunging black vest and a matching maxi skirt from Willy Chavarria.

She topped it off with a wide-brimmed black sun hat that shielded half her face and added sky-high satin Louboutin pumps. It was a masterclass in minimalist goth; no dramatic lace, no overt references, just clean tailoring, powerful silhouettes, and a boss-queen energy.

But she wasn’t done. On August 5, Ortega arrived at the New York Fan Screening of Wednesday season two at the Paris Theater, and if anyone thought she might tone it down, they were wrong.

She wore a black satin dress with structured leather accents by Ann Demeulemeester. Her hair was tousled just enough to look effortless but not messy, and her entire presence was like a poem written in silk and shadow. The look felt like the climax of a gothic novel; a final act that left everyone breathless.

What makes Jenna Ortega’s style on this press tour so compelling isn’t just the clothes. It’s the consistency. She’s not hopping trends or simply wearing what’s handed to her. Every outfit is part of a larger story. She’s dressing for the mood, the moment, and the myth. Her commitment to method dressing has become a powerful form of branding without ever feeling forced.

She’s also smart about her designer choices. Vivienne Westwood, a name synonymous with rebellion and romance, was a perfect pick for her Paris look. Ashi Studio’s futuristic latex gown was just the right level of extra for a viral moment.

Willy Chavarria offered the sharp tailoring that let her flirt with corporate goth. Markgong’s ombré trench brought in a softer, mysterious silhouette. And Ann Demeulemeester gave her the rocker-chic edge to close it all out with a bang. These weren’t random names, they were deliberate, reflective of Ortega’s image, her on-screen persona, and the gothic style she’s built around herself.

As Wednesday season two dominates the charts, Ortega is dominating the gothic culture. From bleached brows to corsets to trench coats that look like shadows in motion, she’s curated a press tour wardrobe that feels like fashion theater and showing that black is never boring.

Honestly? We can’t wait to see what she wears next.
