Meghan Markle Donned a Red Cape Dress at the Mountbatten Festival of Music

Cape dress never goes out of fashion and we just love the scarlet version that Meghan Markle wore yesterday to attend the Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall in London alongside her husband, Prince Harry.

The annual musical festival is reportedly their penultimate engagement as senior working royals, and the couple dressed to the nines. Looking her usual flawless self, the Duchess of Sussex stunned in a red Safiyaa cape dress with matching Aquazzura suede heels and Manolo Blahnik clutch.

While this dress is a show-stopper itself, we think this is Meghan in one of her best, showing off her styling prowess that she’s famous for in a striking all-red look. There’s no doubt that the Duchess was the center of attention even though Harry sported the same hue, looking first-class in his suit as Captain-General of the Royal Marines.

The couple has been very busy with their schedule since arriving at the British capital a few days ago. They attended the Endeavour Fund Awards together and also made their solo engagement on Thursday and Friday.

While Meghan was pictured during her private visit to National Theatre on Thursday, where she wore a white Topshop blouse with a Roland Mouret skirt, Prince Harry attended the opening of the Silverstone Experience museum on Friday.

Yesterday, The Duchess of Sussex, Royal patron of the National Theatre, visited the Immersive Storytelling Studio in London, where emerging technology like Virtual Reality is being used to develop new forms of emotive storytelling. Recently, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also visited Stanford University where part of their learning journey included a virtual reality presentation that allows the user to experience life through another person’s point of view. The goal of this method of virtual reality is to enable us to better connect and empathise with each other as people, regardless of race, age or nationality. 🏎💨💨💨 • This morning, The Duke of Sussex raced up to Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix to open the The Silverstone Experience, a brand-new immersive museum that tells the story of the past, present and future of British motor racing. Joined by six-time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton MBE, The Duke of Sussex and Lewis toured @thesilverstoneexperience, where they viewed the various components of the museum, met with volunteers, and chatted with the next generation of engineers and racing drivers. The museum brings the extensive heritage of Silverstone and British motor racing to life, celebrating the circuit and the country’s position at the heart of the global motorsport industry. It showcases the rich history of the sport, highlights amazing stories of many whom have been part of what makes Silverstone so special – which we hope, will inspire future generations to come. As for the Mountbatten Festival of Music, it is a platform created to raise funds for the Royal Marines Charity and there were musical performances by the Royal Marines Band Service, according to the reports.
