Chika Ike’s Dress At Her Movie Premier Is An Actual Work Of Art

Chika Ike doesn’t do things by halves and she pulled out all the stops for her movie premiere Small Chops, saving one of her most striking and jaw-dropping outfits for the night. She wore a red and pinkish-lavender gown to the event which took place in Lagos over the weekend.

Demonstrating just how sensational the Weiz Dhurm Franklyn’s custom-made piece is, the actress in a motion video looked like a walking piece of art in the sunning confection. The dreamy couture look featured a dramatic bow bustier accented with black spring feathers. She topped off the look with an unconventional braided low bun, a tiny clutch, silver earrings, and brown lipstick.

The movie ‘Small Chops’ is set to hit the cinemas on 31st January, and according to Chika Ike who’s also the producer, the movie is all about present-day happenings.

“What inspired Small chops were life’s events, things around me, things I see around me on social media, things I hear from friends, things going around different industries, the churches, and mosques, schools, workplace, about sexual abuse and also about personal experiences of being an actress, perception, labeling, unconscious bias on people when they try to judge you and put you in a box, so these things inspired Small Chops,” she told Pulse NG in an interview.
