Rihanna has dropped a major Fenty beauty news and we are more than excited.
Having been waiting for this for a long time, Fenty Beauty is finally coming to Africa and for the start, it will be launched last week of May in Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Sharing the news with her followers on Instagram last night, Rihanna said that it’s just the beginning.
“I’ve been waiting for this moment!! @fentybeauty & @fentyskin are finally dropping in AFRICA!!!,” she captioned the post on Instagram, along with a stunning photo of herself wearing a white turtleneck look, matching headwear, and full-face makeup. “Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe…we comin at ya May 27th and that’s just the beginning!!! #FentyAfrica.”

Rihanna first launched Fenty Beauty on September 8, 2017, in the US market and subsequently spread into Europe but her new venture with the inclusive beauty brand marks her first in Africa, posing a major competitive threat to Fenty Beauty’s rivals in the African market.
However, unlike in the US or the UK where Fenty Beauty is sold in Sephora or Ulta Beauty, Rihanna will be partnering with the local retailers in Africa. Who’s ready for May 27th?
