Wow! Genevieve Nnaji Shows Off Her Sunflower Nail Art and Neon Green Manicure

Remember those days when you got a fresh, spanking new manicure at your favorite beauty salon and you couldn’t just wait to show off those fingers to friends? It’s an exciting moment some of us can relate to and if you ask Genevieve Nnaji, nothing is more exciting than getting stunning looking nails.

The Nollywood actress took to her Instagram stories to flaunt her new mani: sunflower nail art design with some nails in neon green. And not only did she showed it off, but the movie star also matched her nails to IRL sunflowers with the caption: “I did it first.”

Yellow and neon nail are making a huge come back this year due to it’s fun and exciting vibes. And it’s not surprising Gene is one of the first women trying out the bright hue. It appears, however, she was having a moment at home. She also posted a photo of her glowing, ‘brown-girl’ skin getting sunkissed. “It’s the glow for me.” “SUN KISSED,” the actress wrote.

Of course, her cute, furry dog who keeps the actress company was right by her side and Gene made sure he was also sunbathed but it looks like the little pet wasn’t in his best mood.

Two days ago, the 41-year-old beauty participated in the viral Instagram #ChallengeAccepted trend that many women across the globe were part of, as a declaration of their supports to one another. Gene, who noticed some men in Nollywood were making a mockery of the movement reacted by clearly stating its essence.

“We seek solace in humour to distract us from pain or discomfort,” Gene reacted to the photo of Actor Deyemi Okanlawon and other men who participated in the challenge. “Tell me what it is you feel exactly? You see, that feeling that triggered you to make a joke of a movement that can only be understood by those it was meant for; the feeling of being overlooked or disregarded is part of the point of the challenge. No one likes to feel invisible. You felt it for a second. Women feel it every day of their lives. Let us hold our own hands if we want to. Be ok with it. Not everything is about you or for laughs. Shalom.”
