Versace Pre-Fall 2015: Clean and Bold.

The bold, always sensual Versace aesthetic was evident in the collection’s graphic focus for pre-fall. Donatella Versace showed clean, sharp silhouettes made dynamic by the use of colorblocking and asymmetric cuts. Linear minidresses worked in different materials — from soft leather to technical knits, featured geometric details — including an elaborate intarsia pattern and a magnified houndstooth motif.

Inspired by her brother Gianni’s signature safety pin dresses, Versace also designed cocktail and evening looks with crystal-covered “staplelike” embellishments holding together sexy, curved cuts, as on a fluid silk cadi gown.
