Celebrities Celebrate ‘Africa Day’ With Stunning African-Inspired Outfits

Nigerian celebrities have taken to social media to celebrate the 2020 ‘Africa Day’ today. What are they wearing, you ask? Stunning African Inspired outfits, of course. On the list are Omotola Jalade, Rita Dominic, Juliet Ibrahim, Yemi Alade, Singer Waje, Mo Abudu, Chika Ike, Victoria Kimani of Kenya, and a lot more others.

While Omotola Jalade sported an exaggerated sleeve dress, Rita Dominic opted for a one-sleeve top and wrapper style, with Chika Ike shutting it down with a traditional attire from her 2013 style archives. There seems to be some kind of style war today and we are particularly in love with Yemi Alade’s hairstyle that’s a subtle tribute to ‘Mama Africa.

Just so you know, ‘Africa Day’ is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the Organisation of African Unity on 25 May 1963. It is celebrated every 25th of May in Africa and the rest of the world. Continue clicking to see what your fave celebs are wearing to celebrate the special day.
